Bio Impression

Le Tonkinois Bio Impression is a natural pre-coating oil for impregnating wood. Also it can be used as final treatment of wood indoors It penetrates deep into the wood and hardens it. Inside, it is the ideal protection against liquids, dirt and wear. Outside, the perfect primer for the later paint with Le Tonkinois varnish.
Due to the very good penetration capacity, the capillaries of the wood are closed, which greatly reduces the swelling movements of the wood and minimizes paint damage. Bio Impression offers very good adhesion to all wood protection paints and leaves the pigments of subsequent paints on the surface where they belong. This ensures optimum protection against the destructive effect of incident UV light.

Areas of use: On all absorbent and non-absorbent, dimensionally and non-dimensional woods with and without contact with earth, such as: windows, doors, fences, floors, parquette etc.
Storage: Properly closed, in dark and cool place. Do not freeze!
Self life: Unopened original container shelf life of at least 5 years
Color: colorless
Consumption: 20-25m²/L per coat depending on the surface condition and absorbency of the substrate.
Drying time: 6-8h at 20ºC and normal humidity. It is recommended to wait 12h. Low temperatures, high humidity and low air exchange delay drying and promote odor formation. During processing, pay attention to good ventilation. Initially, only carefully load surfaces.

Instructions

Surface: Untreated wood, wood-based materials, cork Rough surfaces must be sanded first. The wood surface must be dust- and grease-free, clean, dry and frost-free (max. 15 % wood moisture)
Application: Do not dilute. Stir well. Apply the oil richly and evenly. After a short exposure time, spread excess with the brush again or dab it with a lint-free cloth or rub it slightly. Especially with cork, care must be taken to ensure uniform processing. For pre-treatment 1x is sufficient. For final treatments inside, 2 treatments should be carried out.
Waste disposal: Dispose of product residues and packaging in accordance with local government regulations. Only empty cans are recycled.
